This week, delegates from all over China descended on Beijing for the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC). The CPPCC is an advisory body which meets at the same time as China's parliament, and this year's agenda includes a variety of unusual proposals, ranging from reinventing the weekend to offering free education as an incentive for parents to have more children.
